This summer is all about the 70s.

Now I know all of you think the 80s are where it's at. I completely get it, I was once enamored nearly exclusively by the 80s. In fact, I've spent the last 4 years of my life devoted to the decade of rediculious decadence. Here we are now, 10 years after Batman Forever, and I've realized the cool of the 70s. Before synth/pop, the Happy Mondays and Back to the Future, there was disco, Foghat, and Airport '77. Punk, glam, goth, porno, boy bands, HIV and fondue are all products of the 70s, and we're all better off, or at least more mature, because of them. Before the 80s retro scene rears its ugly head, take a tip from me and get ahead of the movement. Love the 70s for all that they were worth (nothing) and all they've given you (everything). Before there was junk culture, there was junk, and the 70s are responsible.

It snows so frequently here in Geneseo!

State of the union: I never get to hang out with Pat anymore. To anyone who reads our blog, this is surely distressing news. But before you get all choked up, read on. I'm attempting to remedy the situation. Yes, remedy! Remedy is one of my favorite words, largely because, as you probably don't know, I'm obsessed with disease.

The remedy is the newly suggested Pat and Courtney Day (typed in blue because it's such a soothing notion), also known as Wednesday.

Mind you, this is just a suggestion. The other involved party (Pat) has not yet ratified it. Also, I can't promise that this will heal the union. It may be a band-aid for a bullet wound.

I, however, am optimistic, especially considering that Pat and Courtney Day will potentially include the union's three favorite things: The O.C., Visualizations of our favorite songs, and Pot.

Think about it, Puccini.

New York
You're competitive, you like to take it straight to the fight. You gotta have it all or die trying.

They even have a question about what kind of car you'd most like to drive. Honda was one of the answers! Best quiz ever. I'm not kidding.
